Morata: "I was at Milan for Fonseca, then the project changed. I was no longer comfortable"

Alvaro Morata missed the super derby between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce yesterday due to a small physical problem, but he spoke to Marca about several things. He retraced his entire footballing life team by team, and obviously also addressed the topic of Milan.
“I had chosen Milan for Fonseca – said Alvaro – who had shown that he wanted me a lot. But after a few months a project that seemed like one thing turned into another for football reasons. And in the end I wasn’t very comfortable because I had gone there for Fonseca”.
In the long interview there is also space for Paulo Dybala, a great friend of Morata from his time at Juventus: “He is another type of player, on another level. Dybala, Isco… they are different. Maybe you play with them for 10 years and they are still capable of inventing a pass that you wouldn't know how to do and that you don't see. Impossible things that only they see. Paulo is my friend and he is my son's godfather, I wish the best for him”.
Alvaro dedicated a few words to each club he has been to. Juventus: “A family environment, great as a company and as a club, with wonderful employees”. Milan: “It’s a great club with people who know how to be very close to you, a company full of history”.
